Nordic Hemp looks for new hemp growers at EPA2026

Nordic Hemp is taking part in this year’s EPA2026 exhibition to present hemp growing opportunities in Estonia, share practical knowledge, and find new hemp growers.

At the exhibition, the company will take a closer look at the hemp varieties RAK and Estica, discussing their properties and cultivation under Estonian conditions. The Nordic Hemp team will share their experience so far and give practical advice on everything from variety selection and sowing to harvesting and marketing the crop.

“Our goal is to make starting out with hemp growing as simple as possible for farmers – to share our experience, help choose the right variety, and be a partner throughout the entire growing process,” says a Nordic Hemp representative.

According to Nordic Hemp, hemp gives Estonian farmers an opportunity to diversify their crop rotation and grow a crop that has both a market and a local processor.

Both farmers who already grow hemp and those still considering adding it to their crop rotation are welcome at the exhibition area. EPA2026 takes place on 14-15 October 2026 in Tartu, at the Estonian National Museum. This year’s exhibition theme is “From Innovation to Artificial Intelligence.”

Now in its eighth year, the annual exhibition combines a B2B fair aimed at business visitors, conferences and a diverse seminar programme. EPA2026 brings together decision-makers from Estonia’s rural economy sector along with key partners from agriculture and forestry.
