Baltic Agro: How to interpret changes in commodity price trends and what to watch for to make price fixing as successful as possible

Programme

What is happening in the grain market after the 2026 harvest, and which market signals should Estonian grain growers pay attention to as they prepare for the new season?

Bert Pettai and Martin Maante, familiar from the “Põllult börsile” podcast, will give a 40-minute overview at EPA of the latest developments in the grain market and discuss how demand and movements on commodity exchanges affect grain and rapeseed prices. They will explain in simple terms how to read market charts and what you need to know to identify good selling opportunities.

The practical discussion will focus on the question that matters most to farmers: when to sell and when to wait? Which market signals should you monitor when making sales decisions to ensure that your crop marketing strategy is as successful as possible?
